296: Oct 5 , improving after a long slowness

I had an old filling drilled out and that seemed to coinside with the start of the super blues and slowdown. Even exercise like bike riding was very difficult to to, the muscles seemed to be complaining even with daily use.
OUCH!!!!
Because it came not to long after returning from the Brazil 40 day sailboat delivery and the seemingly less than ideal diet on that trip which resulted in me being tired, it all got a bit muddled as to cause and effect. Additionally I was eating soy nutrition bars (Cliff) in the morning against the recommendation of advisor (AW).  After a few weeks being careful about sticking to the recommended diet and doing my daily stretching routine I seem to be on the mend.

139: Back from 34 day sailing trip

Life has gone back to technicolor from a couple years of shades of gray.

Brasil to Trinidad and I did the provisioning and cooking. Mostly fresh fruit and fresh steamed vegetables along with cooked rice and beans. The other two crew members were very surprised to be enthusiastic about the diet but they were very happy with the meals. I did not maintain the diet and supplement regime exactly as suggested by Anthony but tried to keep the spirit of it as much as possible. I was surprised how well I felt when allowing some items (meat: 'hard saugage' & cheese) into the daily diet that I have been avoiding for a while. They seemed necessary in order to live with out much refrigeration for an extended period of time.  It is a topic I plan to revisit and consider more in future offshore sailing voyages.

103: catching up a bit

It's March 22nd and life has been feeling much better and I give a lot of credit to medical intuitive Anthony. While life has not been a total perky smile fest, I have fallen short in a few areas such as aerobic exercise and diet has been only about 75% of what I think it should be. Over all not to shabby.
I depart to day for Rio and a 3,000+ mile sailboat delivery where I won't be able to maintain every little dietary thing I can at home. However, I expect that in balance it will be a wonderful thing.
